Welcome to Spring Everyone,
ようやく春が訪れました。
Over the last two years, I have had the pleasure of enjoying cigars, cocktail hours, seminars, cherry blossom viewing and many other networking events with each of you. All of you have come out to share your time, thoughts, hopes and dreams with me, and I would like to establish a way of giving back.
この2年以上、シガーパーティ、カクテルアワーズ、セミナーや花見などたくさんのネットワーキングイベントを通じて、皆さん一人ひとりと楽しいひとときを過ごしてきたことは私にとってこの上ない喜びでした。その思いから貴重な時間、思い、希望そして夢を一緒に分かち合った皆さんに何らかの形でお返しを出来る方法を作り上げたいと思うに至りました。
For myself, what I have learned over the last few years is that each of us is trying our best to improve our lives and condition. More than that I understand we are all trying to enrich and improve both the quality of our lives and the lives of those we love.
私自身にとって、この数年間の皆さんとの出会いを通じて学んだことは皆ひとり一人、自分が置かれている状況つまり人生を良くしようとベストを尽くしているということです。私が理解している以上に、皆、自分の人生のクオリティや愛する人の人生を更に豊かに、充実させようとしています。
I would like to host an event towards support the enrichment of our lives. Not some type of networking event where I ask your money in exchange for me promoting myself, but an event that truly adds value to everyone who attends.
そこで、今回、人生を豊かにするためのサポートイベントの案内役になれればと考えました。これは受講料を募って私自身を宣伝するようなネットワーキングイベントではなく、純粋に参加した皆さんにとって何らかの価値を見いだせるイベントです。
Starting this month, I will be holding a monthly mixer and seminar focused on providing an opportunity for people to learn about what is out there for us to develop our skills, opportunities, and improve our lives.
今月から月に一度、持っているスキルやチャンスを向上させるために、そして人生をより良いものにするために何が私たちの周りにすでに転がっているのかを学ぶ機会をもたらすことに焦点を合わせたセミナーと懇親会を開催します。
There are many ways to improve one’s life, so I won’t pretend to think I can cover every aspect of the market, or every hobby and educational course in the world;-) I would like to start with topics and themes that most people share in common. Based on your feedback I hope to plan future events accordingly.
人生をより良いものにする方法はいくらでもあります。なので、世界中のどんな分野、趣味そして学問的なコースでも網羅できるようなフリはしません。多くの人が参加できる共通したテーマやトピックスでこのセミナーを立ち上げたいと考えました。これから続くセミナーは皆さんの意見を基に計画できればと思っています。
This month’s topic will be joys of Food and Drink! We all love it, need it, and there are many courses, classes, and seminars out there, related to food, that can provide for you a hobby or opportunity to enrich your life through learning an enjoyable skill or meeting new people! Specifically we will be focusing on Cheese and Wine! I will have instructors, specialists, and distributors onsite to provide samples of various wines and cheeses, as well as information on courses providing certification and education on wine and cheese.
今月とりあげたトピックは「食べ飲み物を楽しむ。」人は皆、食べることが大好きで、必要。そしてワインとチーズのコースやクラスは街中に溢れており、楽しめるスキルを学んだり、そこでの新しい出会いを通じて人生をもっと豊かにする機会を提供しています。
今回は具体的にチーズとワインに焦点を当て、そのスペシャリストや講師、販売に携わる人を会場に招いてそれらにまつわる免許や資格を取得するためのコースの情報だけではなく、多くのワインやチーズのサンプルも用意をします。
I will also provide a 20 minute seminar on Effective Networking. How many of us have heard that networking is Key to developing one’s professional career? Personally I agree with this because I use networking as a way to build my own businesses. However many of us have attended a networking event only to leave feeling as if our time (and money) could have been better spent elsewhere. As someone who spends a great deal of time networking for both myself and for others, I would like to provide everyone with a free course from one of my own seminars on teaching you how to make the most from networking).
さらに、効き目のある20分間のネットワーキングも用意することにしました。多くの人がビジネスキャリアの発展のカギはネットワーキングにあると聞いたことがあると思います。個人的に、自分自身のビジネスを立ち上げ、形作ってゆく方法としてネットワーキングを活用してきたのでこの意見には賛成です。しかし、多くの人がネットワーキングイベントに参加した後、時間（そしてお金を）他のもっと有効なことに使えたのに、もったいないことをしたという気持ちだけを抱えて、帰り道を歩くという事実があることも承知しています。そこで、私自身も他の人々にとってもネットワーキングに多くの時間を割いている者として、私個人のセミナーからフリーコース、「ネットワーキングからどのように最大の効果を引き出すか」をご用意し、秘訣をお教えしたいと思います。
