Report: 3.11 Japan Memorial Charity Japanese Tea Ceremony - 3/3/13
Dear All,
Thank you very much for your support in many ways and warm contribution in "3.11 Japan Memorial Charity Japanese Tea Ceremony" on Sunday, March 3, 2013. This series of charity event has been to commemorate the North-Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster that happened on March 11, 2011. We wish to support the survivors, not only financially, but for each of us to remember the tragedy.
We welcomed many guests at the ceremony (Hina-matsuri - Girls' Festival) and received contribution from the guests and also companies and organizations around Boston area.
Total amount of the contribution has raised up to $2068, and will be donated in July when Mrs. Wada visits Bright Green Ribbon foundation in Iwate, Japan. Their objective is to directly support young students, who eager for higher education by providing them financial support. Below is their website. They do not have an English version, but please visit and support.
