東京大学に設置されたナノバイオ・インテグレーション拠点は、革新的「ナノ医療」システムの構築と
新ナノバイオ産業の確立を促すことを目的として平成17年度から活動しています。
今回のシンポジウムでは、?バイオインスパイアード・ナノマシン創製、?ナノバイオセンシング・システム創製、
?ナノスケール細胞治療（セル・セラピー）のためのナノテクノロジー・材料技術創製
というサブ・テーマを設定して、ナノバイオの最先端研究を討論します。
日米欧の最先端の研究者の講演があり、主な講演者は次の通り。
相澤益男（東京工業大学）、廣川信隆（東京大学）、Wolfgang Knoll(Max-Planck Inst.,Germany)、Carlo
Montemagno(Univ. Cincinnati,USA)、Buddy Ratner(Univ. Washington,USA)、Subra
