春分の日をむかえ、いよいよ春ですね！折り紙に茶道に禅の映画に祭りに・・・イベントが盛りだくさんです☆ご興味があれば是非お越しください！
☆April Origami: Art of Science and Mathematics
An exhibition by Dr. Duk Lee at UK Libraries: WT Young, Find Arts, and Science Libraries April 3, 3:00pm- Workshop at UK Student Center

Calligraphy, tea tasting, origami, martial arts & more
5:30 pm – Film Showing: “禅ZEN”

☆April 7 Japanese Tea Ceremony
Ms. Mari Isobe, a specialist in the practice of Japanese chanoyu (tea ceremony)
will recreate the atmosphere of a Japanese tea gathering, with Dr. Andrew
Maske, an Asian art historian at the University of Kentucky
Age 3 and up: Japanese Folktales then some paper cranes
Age 12 and up: Japanese Tea Ceremony
6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Eagle Creek Branch Library

☆April 27 Japanese Language- Lecture and Discussion A monthly event. Keep your Japanese language comprehensive and speaking skills up- to-date by attending a presentation by a local native speaker with discussions afterwards.
This month’s theme is Traditional Japanese Cuisine(懐石料理) with speaker Ms. Mari Isobe.
