さて、今回はＪＳＯからジョブ・フェアーについての報告があります。

ご存知でしょうか？

2月18,19日にＮＹＣでバイリンガルの留学生（日本語＆英語）を対象にしたジョブ・フェアーがあります。

それに伴い、1月27日金曜日、コロンバスにありますオハイオ・ユニオンのルーム４３６において、午後5時から7時の間Global Mainichi Careerさんが、2月6日の月曜日に、ＮＹのキャリアフォーラムの主催者さんでありますDISCO INTERNATIONALさんが、私達ＯＳＵの学生を尋ねこられます。当日は、就職活動をするにあったての面接、レジュメの書き方などの諸情報、心構えなどについて具体的なお話をして頂くことになっておりますので、是非参加を願いします。

Global Mainichi Career is a New York City based company that offers
job-searching for Japanese speakers in U.S. colleges. I believe they work off
of their homepage.(http://mgc.mycom.co.jp/#) If you are interested to attend
this seminar, please e-mail me ASAP regarding your attendance. E-mail:
jinada@studentaffairs.osu.edu with subject GMC Seminar. The DATE is: THIS
FRIDAY at the OHIO UNION, 5pm-7pm room #436 Classroom.

The seminar will have power point slides, some one on one, and how to prepare
for interviews, job fairs, and resume writing. I think this will be perfect
for people that are still debating on what to do with their degree and how to
start looking for jobs, both in the US and Japan. I recommend that students,
regardless of rank in college, attend so that you have a better understanding
of the bi-lingual (jpnz & eng) job world.

There are still a few Japanese that are not on this listserve. Please inform
them of this event. JSO can provide a few light refreshments FREE!

There is another Job Seminar sponsored by DISCO International. This will be
February 6, 2006, Monday. The time is not set yet (location=TBA), but please
make sure to mark your calenders. DISCO is the company that sponsored the
BOSTON CAREER FORUM. For people that missed that, this would be a great
opportunity.

Finally, there is a New York Japanese Career Forum sometime in February.
Please e-mail me for details. We could possibly get Group discounts with
airlines or rent a cargo van and drive to NY city.
