A: So how was your holiday in Egypt?
B: It was a really memorable experience. You really should go if you have the chance.
A: I'd love too. Where did you go exactly?
B: Well, we spent the first three days in Cairo and then we took the overnight train to Luxor, where we stayed for the rest of the trip.
A: And what is it like? I imagine Cairo to be a really busy, chaotic city.
B: Oh, it is... and dusty too. After walking around for a morning, you are filthy from the dust and the dirt. But the sights are truly amazing. We spent an afternoon in the Cairo museum, and it was full of the most incredible treasure I have ever seen. But I think the best thing we did was sail in a felucca.
A: In a what?
B: A felucca. It's traditional sailing boat. It's the same kind of boat that they had in Biblical times. We went out on Nail on one of these boats just before sunset. As we watched the sun set over the mountain from the boat, I felt like I had gone back in time two thousand years. It was so peaceful and calm.
A: It sounds like the perfect vacation.
B: Well, to be honest it wasn't all perfect.
A: Oh, you didn't get robbed, did you?
B: No, no, nothing like that. But we did get quite ill. They say that you shouldn't drink the tap water or have ice in your drinks, and we were really careful about that, but we still got really bad stomachache. I couldn't stop shivering, even though it was, like, 95 degrees outside.
