Our good friend Orlando from the Antaru Cafe 8 in Asagaya, has put together another huge two day festival in Yoyogi Park in October. Featuring musical acts, food stands, and merchandise stalls from all over the world. There will also be percussion workshops and other artistic adventures going on all weekend.
The Antaru Festival Project is designed to nurture the spirit of peace that is ever present and rapidly growing in our world, as well as provide a model for the future of the peace movement. It’s an opportunity to experience the actualization of peace through a from of celebration that dissolves boundaries between individuals, races and cultures. This act of bringing people closer together is achieved by sharing of unique cultural customs, as well as varieties of ethnic culture, food and music within the festival itself.
