thanks everyone! now it's time to plan our itinerary and
worskshops. let's share ideas on Sunday. ciao!
-bring warm clothes, and indoor shoes as the taikukan
is probably gonna be cold.
-bring your bikinis/swim trunks for coed onsen party(!)
-practice your capoeira songs for our mp3 recording!
(ps. who has an mp3 recorder? : )
Here's a basic translation of Cafune's post... Apologies if there are any errors in translation!!
Attention camp attendees!!
Let's all take 2.5 cups(?) of rice each. By reducing garbage we'll be helping the environment!! Thanks!
Please bring drinks for yourself (wine, beer etc..also bring tea and don't forget something to drink during capoeira). Please also bring some snacks. :)
I had a think about meals.. What do you think??
Should everyone bring and prepare their own food? Should Cafune buy everything and split it up? Or should everyone bring stuff and split it(?) Cacapa and Cafune can't carry everything themselves so please help out if you can.
I've kind of decided, but let me know what you think. If you can't eat something we can change it.
Dinner
*BBQ* << Cafune will take heaps of chicken
We also need other meats (sausage, ham etc..). Plus maybe some bread
*Ton soup*
We need: 500 grams of pork, 2 x daikon (big white Japanese radish), 2 x negi (long green onion), 4 x carrots, 2 bags of konnyaku, 3 sheets of oage, 2 x gohou, 2 x momen tofu, some miso soup and some dashi.
We can eat some of the soup the next day, too.
*Salad*
Stick salad is ok isn't it?
we need: 4 x cucumber, 2 x celery, 2 x carrots, half a daikon - what do you think?
It will cost 500 yen each to use the gym so I'm thinking we should have onigiri for lunch. What do you think? If that's ok then we need some nori (seaweed).
To Amizade: Is it possible for you to bring coal for the BBQ? If you can that would be great! If you can't, please let us know asap so we can look for some around here.
Will everyone be there by dinner so we can eat together? Can someone tell Bambu?
Please (everyone) reply asap and before Thursday at the latest!! THANKS!!!
kinu's bringing the chicken, i think sung is bringing some sausages, so could you bring some steak (beef or lamb or pork) or something.
Kinu says 1-2kg should be enough.
She's going to prepare some meat at home, so she needs it before we get to the camp site.
and she asked if u can buy bread. ie. sausage and hot dog buns for 20 ppl. depending on individual size, maybe 2 of each per person.
bread isn't so heavy, but awkward to carry.
