If you'd like to see me do a rare spoken word gig, and see some other great queer Melbourne words and cabaret, I'm performing at two Midsumma events in the next couple of weeks. It'd be great to see you there if you're in town.

Hi boys,
Hope you are well. Our next GAP is on Saturday 10 Feb. It is a day before the
Carnival day. So, I decided that we should have it on Sunday 11 Feb at the
Carnival instead.
Budi kindly offers to organise this meeting (see below for information). There
are so many things that you may like to be involved. Let me and Budi
[budiau@yahoo.com.au] know of your decision.
I especailly encourage you boyzzzzzzzzzzz to do the picnic. Exact time and
location, I let you know next. Budi is having a meeting with the people next
week to work it out.
I'm thinking of making some posters to promote GAP and
inform others about us, what we do, our activities,
etc.
I know there are plenty of creative guys in our group,
so please, lend me a hand!
Picnic is on! we are calling it "A POT LUCK PICNIC"
It will be near the tent/table area where Yellow
Kitties & GAP are going to be.
BYO food and drinks and nibbles.
Friends and partners are welcome to join.
If someone can bring a portable stereo, that will be
even better.
Also, Peggy from Yellow Kitties just informed me that
there will be a 30 minutes time slot during the
Carnival for cultural presentation/performance/speech
etc. The girls are going to do an Asian market tour,
and they ask if we can help them to do the shopping
and to get some audience participation. They are
thinking of introducing something smelly, like durian
or one of those Malaysian beans, or even dip some
chips on sambal paste, or one of those shrimp paste?
If you guys want to help, or have more ideas, let me
know, so I can inform her.
Alternatively, if you like to be on the spotlight and
have your own 30 mins performance, let me know ASAP,
so I can tell Peggy to save a spot for you. It will be
a great opportunity to express your many hidden
tallents, so jump on board!
Thanks guys! And, as per usual, I need as much help as
I can get!
