3月、東京のパーティピープルに新鮮な衝撃をもたらした“SAW@AIR”。そして2回目の開催にして早くも、メインアクトにSAW.RECORDINGS主宰サトシ・トミイエが登場する。80年代後半から90年代にかけてDEF MIX PRODUCTIONSの一員としてNYにハウスミュージックの礎を作り、最近も自らの担当したミックスCD「3D」「Masters Series」が大きな話題を呼んだ、グローバルシーンの第一人者。マイアミWMCやイビサ島PACHAで行なわれる“SAW.PARTY”の毎回入場規制がかかるほどの過熱人気ぶりは、世界における彼の価値の証明といえるだろう。もちろんこの“SAW@AIR”、フライヤーデザインに至るまで、彼が緻密なトータルプロデュースを手がける。ダンスミュージックの本場の、いや、それを凌駕するほどの熱気がAIRのフロアに充満する夜。幕を開けた新たな伝説はいま、最初のクライマックスを迎えようとしている。

In March new party “SAW@AIR” surprised and left strong impact to Tokyo club scene. The 2nd “SAW@AIR” features the boss of the very SAW.RECORDINGS already. As member of Def Mix Productions, Satoshi Tomiie helped shape the basis of House music in 80’s - 90’s and in recent years “3D” and “Masters Series” from RENAISSANCE set him on the forefront of the global scene today. SAW parties at WMC Miami and at Pacha in Ibiza always get long lines proving the high popularity of the label and its music. For “SAW@AIR” nights, Satoshi oversees everything from line-up, designs, visuals, and of course music policy to make sure the dance floor to be filled with great vibe and quality dance music. Come and witness the 1st climax of this will-be-legend night on Saturday 3rd May.

SATOSHI TOMIIE

東京生まれ、クラシックのピアノ教育を受けジャズを聴いて育った富家はバンド活動などを経て学生時代にクラブへ通いはじめる。フランキー・ナックルズに渡したデモテープがきっかけでハウス・クラシックスとなった『TEARS』を発表、その後NYへ渡りDEF MIX PRODUCTIONSの一員としてハウス・ミュージックの礎を作った。2000年に初のアーティスト・アルバム『FULL LICK』をリリース、高い音楽性で周囲を驚かせ、より幅広いジャンルで一気にファンを増やした。2006年世界的なクラブ・ブランドREANAISSANCEのシリーズ『3D』（CLUB, HOME, STUDIO３枚組のコンセプトアルバム）の第１弾を担当してシーンの話題をさらい、昨年ルネッサンスから『Masters Series Pt9』をリリース。今年は再度『Masters Series』で富家のMIX CDがリリースとなる予定だ。

Trained in Japan as a classical musician, he used his talents in the early years as a member of Def Mix Productions to write, program and produce some of the biggest house records of our time. Satoshi is also President of Saw Recordings. The label has earned a formidable reputation for credible club grooves. In 2006, Satoshi was chosen to mix the first album of Renaissance’s new series 3D. Following up with the releasing of successful ’Masters’ series on Renaissance and releasing of his own singles ’Glow’ in 2007 as well as ’Solar Wind’ in 2008 on SAW.RECORDINGS, Satoshi is now preparing another album planned to be released late 2008 for Renaissance.
