C.H.O.P.P.A. is Singapore’s regular improvised music series, showcasing the underbelly of the local and regional music scenes and giving a forum for sound artists and musicians to present their work. CHOPPA 2008 will bring together 20 musicians from Japan, Malaysia, Sweden, Australia and Singapore featuring noise, electro acoustic, lap-top, interactive sound art, free jazz and kraut rock. 25 thru 26 Jan at LASALLE College of the Arts with festival after-parties on each night featuring guest DJs around the corner upstairs at Blu Jaz in Bali Lane.
