先日は企画をキャンセルすることになってしまい、大変失礼しました^^;。今回はその教訓を活かして、早めの告知です。もはや日本を代表するジャズ・アーティストとして世界中で大活躍している天才ピアニスト、上原ひろみさん（アメリカでは単に"Hiromi"と呼ばれている）が4月にLAにやってきます！　場所は当コミュのメンバーでもあるinsidejazzさんがサウンドマンを務める名門クラブ、The Jazz Bakeryです。

Sorry for canceling the previous event. Learning from the mistake, this time I'm announcing the event early. Hiromi Uehara, the young and talented pianist from Japan is coming to LA in April! The venue is The Jazz Bakery, where Mr. "insidejazz" who is a member of this community works as a sound engineer.

ヤマハ・ミュージック・スクール出身で、ボストンのバークリー音楽院に留学、そこで伝説的ピアニスト、アーマッド・ジャマルに認められていきなりTelarcレーベルからCDデビューした元気なお嬢さんです。アメリカで「一発で覚えてもらう」ためにバクハツ・ヘアスタイルを考案するなど、感性が日本人離れしています。

After studying piano at Yamaha Music School, Hiromi went on to Berklee School of Music in Boston. Her talent was immediately recognized by her teacher and piano legend Ahmand Jamal and she made her debut album from the American Telarc label. She is young, energetic and fearless: She wears her hair BIG to leave a strong impression on American audience.

今回はTelarcから発売されたばかりの最新アルバム"Time Control"をプロモートするためのツアーで、以前から一緒にやっているベース、ドラムにギタリストが加わってのカルテットになります。びっくりするような超絶技巧と次に何が起こるか分からないスリリングな展開、そして音楽の楽しさを全身で表現するHiromiさんの魅力を体験しに行きましょう！

She is embarking on a tour to promote her brand-new CD "Time Control." This time she has a guitarist in addition to her regular bassist and drummer. We can expect to see astonishing technique from all musicians, unpredictable and thrilling musical developments, and the joy of playing music that Hiromi expresses with her entire being.

Jazz Bakeryでは食べ物は出ません。ロビーで飲み物を買って開場に持ち込むことは可能です。基本的に他で食事を済ませてから、現地集合してください。希望があればOCからカープールも検討します。

No real food is served at The Jazz Bakery which is basically a jazz theater. You can buy a drink at the lobby and bring it into the theater. Please eat dinner beforehand and meet me at the lobby. If there's demand, I'll consider carpooling from Orange County.
