The AV Social is set up to create a regular social meeting point for VJs, DJs, musicians, artists and all audiovisual creatives in order for them to network as well whilst enjoying music and visual stimulations by some of the best talents in town.
The AV Social plans to program DJ and VJ performances, fully audiovisual acts, installations and screenings. The ‘audio visual’ (and visually aided DJ) scene in London is one of the most thriving in the world. Yet no other event around London is catering for the people of this industry. VJ Anyone, one of the scenes leading visual artists believes it is time to make a change and create a social space for like minded people. Clerkenwell House as the perfect place to do this because of its size, location, the quality of its sound and video equipment, and much more.
The AV Social is held five minutes' walk from two of London’s premier clubs Turnmills and Fabric. Clerkenwell House holds up to 250 people and features two floors, creating two very different spaces to play with. The Ground Floor will provide a chilled out atmosphere with downtempo sounds and sights, whilst The Basement will accommodate more club-based sounds and visuals.
