Oxfam Japan IVG Awareness Workshop - September 11th
■Topic: "Sudan: Torn in Two & Tired of Fighting"
A nation which only until recently agreed to end a 20 year conflict that saw two million dead and four million displaced from their homes. Though the North & South finally agreed on a trial separation, violence has escalated and the country remains on a knife-edge. The people await with great fear the results of next year's referendum. Welcome to Sudan.
Yoko & Joe will provide an energetic platform for all attendees to learn, analyse, and discuss the current situation and the worrying future of Sudan and their people. They are determined to bring to life the harsh realities Sudan faces in extreme poverty and how they deal with the threat of violence from local tribes and Armies. Come and join us for a brand new workshop in our brand new location!
