Dolomites is Mutantified Gadjo Gypsy Muzik mixed up with lyrics in Japanese (mainly), Romanian , Italian, Indonesian and other lands from afar. This worldly mish mash of traditional Japanese scales interspersed with Gypsy style Melodies and other sounds of many different cultures make up the JAP RO GADJO GYPSY sound that is the Dolomites Band Leader Stefanko Iancu has also performed for Romashka, Gogol Bordello, Yerba Buena , and Reverend Glasseye during his short 3 year stint out in NYC. Tubapalooza Part CinQ! marks the final NYC performance for Iancu and the Dolomites for a while, as the discombobulated accordionist/songwriter, Stefanko Iancu shall journey back to his mother land of Japan , where Plankton (Japanese Record Label and Promoter of Gypsy and World musik in Tokyo- (www.plankton.co.jp) is planning a release later this year of the Dolomites , DUBLAVIXX album. Stefanko Iancu will extend the JAP RO Gadjo GYpsy sounds of the Dolomites to the live houses of Okinawa, Tokyo, and the rest of Japonika, Japanese gadjo gypsy style. . . Sayo Onara!!!
