1979年にブリストルの地元レーベル、Heartbeat Recordsから
リリースされた、レーベル所属のブリストルバンドの
楽曲を収録したコンピアルバムAvon Calling。
コレクターズ・アイテムとなっていた、このアルバムが
再リリース(2005/10/17)されました。
このリリースを祝して、Private Dicksが
Fiddlersでライブやるそうです。興味のある人はどうぞ！
ちなみに彼らが1９７７年にブリストルで発表した
アルバム「Homelife」はいい意味で、
８０年代への移行が垣間見られる逸品です。

A celebration and launch party is to be held on Sunday 30th October 2005 at Fiddlers Club, Bedminster, Bristol; where original band PRIVATE DICKS will headline, aided by special guests Neil Taylor & Johnny Klein. Also playing will be BULA BULA featuring
legendary guitarist Tony Dodd, and a whole host of other local luminaries will hopefully be strutting their stuff, along with new all girl band Fi Fi Saloon following in their fathers footsteps and proving that good new music is still being made in Bristol.
Tickets are £6 and doors open at 8pm.
