代表の西川です。冬もそろそろ終わりというのに寒い日が続いておりますが皆様はいかがお過ごしでしょうか。今年の風邪は鼻、のど、咳と気管支系の集中攻撃で長引くのには困ったものです。早くすっきりして春が来てほしいものです。
さて３月のISM講座はサービス業としてはUKにおいて成功を収めている数少ない日系企業で、今やHousehold Nameでもある英国セコム社長、竹澤稔氏を招いてお話を伺います。ケーススタディーとして起業のアイデア、UKでのサービスの位置づけ、ヒントとなる様々な内容に触れますので是非ご参加下さい。

内容：日本の製造業の質の高さに比べて、日本のサービス産業の質の高さ、競争力は意外に認識されていない。日本のアントレプレナー元祖が起業したベンチャー企業の草分け「セコム」が、今、セキュリティ先進国のイギリスに逆上陸。日本的な質の高いセキュリティをセコム流「サービス」として売る。その競争力の源泉と英国での経営戦略をケーススタディとして聞く。

講師略歴：米国テネシー大学マーチン校を経、1987年セコム株式会社入社。1992年米国サンディエゴ大学大学院経営修士号（MBA)取得後、セコム株式会社本社の経営監理室、海外事業部などを経て、2001年からセコムPLC（英国セコム）の代表取締役。
Somewhat, people tend to overlook the competitiveness and its high quality of services of Japanese service industry compared with their success of manufacturer counterparts in the world. Mr. Takezawa will explain their strategy for success in the UK security industry by selling high quality "Japanese" services to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
Mr. Takezawa was graduated from University of Tennessee, Martin School and received MBA from UC San Diego. Joined Secom in 1987, he was appointed as Managing Director of Secom plc in 2001 after various senior positions in Japan.
