米・シカゴより、若手即興演奏家の中心人物である、Brian Labycz (3度目の来日)とDaniel Fandiño (昨年に続き2度目)を迎えて、コンサートを開催致します。

Brian Labycz (ブライアン・ラビッチ) [http://www.koura.us]

米・シカゴ出身。主にエレクトロニクスを用いたインプロヴァイザーで、モジュラーシンセサイザー、アコースティック楽器、デジタルマニュピレーション、フィールドレコーディング、および自作の装置を用いて、様々なソースからソロや様々なグループで、アメリカ及び日本において、CDのリリースやパフォーマンスを展開。また、シカゴでのMyopic Improvised Music Seriesを中心に、国外においてもオーガナイザーとして活発にイベントを企画。

Is an improviser hailing from Chicago primarily performing with electronics. He draws from a range of sources utilizing a modular synthesizer, acoustic instruments, digital manipulations, field recordings, and self-made devices to produce and explore various expressive forms. With a primary focus on improvisation his aim is to produce dynamic gestures with electronics in a live setting. The goal is to transcend gadgetry to arrive at a fully realized performance instrument. Working as a soloist and in various group settings he has performed and released work in the US and Japan. He has also organized events in Chicago and abroad and is actively hosting the myopic improvised music series.



Daniel Fandiño (ダニエル・ファンディーニョ) [http://www.danielfandino.com]

シカゴを中心に活動をするマルチメディアインプロヴァイザー。様々なエレクトロニクスを利用して、音色や、ボリューム、ダイナミックなジェスチャーや、美意識などを表現する。これまでの主な共演者は、アーロン・ザルズツキ、フレッド・ロンバーグホルム、ケヴィン・デイヴィス、ジム・ベイカー、ジェイソン・ステイン、ティム・オリーブら。

Is a Chicago-based multimedia improviser. Utilizing various electronic means, his audio work deals with the exploration of formal qualities and their effects, such as timbre, volume, dynamic gesture, and aesthetic clash. He has performed in both the united states and Japan, and has been fortunate enough to have performed or otherwise collaborated with: Aaron Zarzutzki, Brian Labycz, Fred Lonberg-holm, Kevin Davis, Jim Baker, Joshua Manchester, Jason Stein, Guillermo Gregorio, Marc Riordan, Mike Forbes, Graham Stephenson, Wilson Shook, Hiroyuki Ura, Shinjiro Yamaguchi, Kazuya Ishigami, Tim Olive, among others...



浦 裕幸 (Hiroyuki Ura) [http://www.two-lines.org]

1984年東京都生まれ。1997年頃よりバンドを中心に活動したのち、現在は主に、作曲作品の発表、ターンテーブル、エレクトロニクスを用いた演奏や、身体的な収音を行うプロジェクト 「Sound Traveler」など、様々な形で音楽に関わる活動を並行して継続中。自身が関わる全ての作品の録音を行うほか、2004年より音楽レーベルを中心とした組織・TWOLINESを運営。

Was born in Tokyo in 1984. Focusing on band work since around 1997. Later, I have been engaged in musical activity based on the solo such as made music with turn table and electronics, produce scores and “Sound Traveler” project (field recording by Physically). Since 2004 I have been running TWOLINES, the central component of witch is a record label.



山口 晋似郎 (Shinjiro Yamaguchi) [http://www.two-lines.org/asamoya]

楽器と非楽器の演奏、作曲について考えている。1983年川口市生まれ。都内を中心に活動をする。演奏には主にオーディオミキサーやギター、ガラスのコップやその他の物等を使用するが、基本的にあまり手法にはこだわらず、音の起こる場に注意を払うことと時間に対する間隔を大切にしている。作曲では、時間を扱うことをソロの他に浦 裕幸とのデュオや、彫刻家・金沢 健一、浦 裕幸とのトリオ、バンド「Hello」等で活動をしている。

Born in Kawaguchi, December 30 1983. I'm thinking about composition and performance for music instruments and non-music instruments. Before turning to electronic music and improvisation I was playing a guitar in post-rock band. Now I’m using audio mixer, guitar and other objects (such as glass, plastic bag and strings) for performance. My composition works are focused on “time”. I’m a member of Hello (Takahiro Kawaguchi, Satoshi Kanda and Shinjiro Yamaguchi). There are more than 15 recordings, such as solo album [in the suburb] from cherry music (jp), [niju] from ristretto (pt) and hello (Takahiro Kawaguchi + Shinjiro Yamaguchi) [hello] / ftarri (jp).
