We are running a photo contest on REJ to drive traffic to the site through Flickr, which is a photo-sharing community. We are asking people to submit photos of the view from their room, balcony, or window. The contest will start Tuesday next week.

These are the steps:

1. Take a picture of the view from your room.

2. Go to www.flickr.com. If you already have a Yahoo account, then just sign in with that. Otherwise, they'll ask you to create a new Yahoo account.

3. Upload your photo to your Flickr account.

4. Add some relevant tags to your photo like "tokyo_room" or "view_from_shinjuku" for example. Please also use the tag "REJOCT2010", which is the tag you have to use to actually enter the contest.

5. Go to the REJ group page www.flickr.com/groups/my_place_in_japan/
and click the "Join this group" link at the top of the page.

6. Upload your photo to the group pool by clicking the "Group Pool" link. Then click the "Add Something?" link to select your photo.

That's is. Please let me know if you have any questions.
