One of the most influential figures in Japan's house scene today and an extraordinary DJ/Remixer/Producer.
EMMA(whose name means the King of Hell in Buddhism), has enthralled and entertained myriads of sonic savvy devotees since he started his DJ'ing career in 1985. EMMA has successfully played circuits and regular gigs from the early stage of his career, starting with his residency@'Gold',Tokyo's answer to Paradise Garage, and continuing on to at the city's famed Ageha, Womb and Yellow nightclubs. Over the years, EMMA's sensitive yet aggressive style of spinning has been called by many as "EMMA HOUSE" and has became a category by itself in Japan's dance music scene. He has released over 14 EMMA HOUSE compilations and his sound has developed an almost cult-like following.
