「めぐみちゃんと家族のメッセージ」〜横田滋写真展〜

　此の度、「めぐみちゃんと家族のメッセージ」〜横田滋写真展〜をマンハッタンにて開催する運びとなりましたのでお知らせしたいと思います。

　ご承知のように、横田滋・早紀江夫妻は20年間消息の不明だった愛娘のめぐみさんが海の彼方で生きているということを知らされてから11年にわたって壮絶な活動を続けておりますが、めぐみさんは未だ帰ってきておりません。

　横田夫妻の近隣住民で組織するあさがおの会では2005年より父・滋さんの撮影した家族写真を中心とした写真展を開催する活動を始め、大規模なもので19カ所、小規模なものでは40カ所以上で実施して参りました。累計で23万人にも及ぶ皆様（大規模展のみの累計）にご来場戴いております。

　開催日程：２００８年３月１３日（木）〜２４日（月）
　開場時間：午前１０時〜午後６時
　開催場所：日本ギャラリー 日本クラブ　1階

We are pleased to announce you that we are going to have a photo exhibition "A Message from Little Megumi and Her Family" ~ Shigeru Yokota's Photo Exhibition ~　in the middle of Manhattan, New York City according to the following schedule.

Mr. & Mrs. Yokota were suddenly taken their beloved daughter, Megumi, away. Twenty years had passed without of knowledge of the whereabouts of a missing daughter when they were informed that Megumi had been abducted by North Korea but was still alive far across the sea. Despite of over 10 years of their great effort, they have not succeeded to get their daughter back, yet.

We respectfully invite you to our photo exhibition. We would like you to know through these photos that the cruelty of the crime against humanity and this tragedy occurred in just an ordinary family & could happen to anybody.
