5/8、9にピンクカウも参加させていただいた、AOZORA写真展に出展の皆さんも、
ご来場お待ちしてます
（度々の変更、失礼しました。）

The date for the “SHOCK SHOP!!! A Celebration of Conflict & Commerce" Photo Party is changing from the 18th to the 25th of May 2010.

This is to give you all more time to get your images together, including all the Aozora Exhibition photographers that the Pink Cow met over the weekend past.

今回のテーマは "SHOCK SHOP!!"
衝撃商店！ ― 競争と商業の世界 ―ということで、
いつも通り自由な視点で作品を募集してます！

このテーマは、例えば二通りの味方があると思います。
① 強さや早さを競ったり過激なスポーツ、街での暴動、政府による弾圧、武器や戦争などでみられる衝撃。
② 文字通り、商業についても考えられますね。お金、市場、スーパー、様々な店、デパート、露天商、ウィンドウ・ディスプレーや看板、ネオンなど。
もちろん、ご自分のお好きなテーマの作品もいつでも歓迎です。

世界中から様々な人達が作品を発表する予定です。

You & your friends are invited to the Pink Cow Photography Club's “SHOCK SHOP!!” Photo Party from 7pm until late on Tuesday the 25th of May 2010. Amateur and Professional photographers are welcome! Come, show and share your work.

This month's theme is: “SHOCK SHOP!!! A celebration of conflict and commerce”. This is a double edged concept! 1. This action sports, competative sports, extreme sports, riots, law enforcement, weapons and war. 2. Think money, markets, supermarkets, shops, department stores, street vendors, retail displays, signs, neon. ALTHOUGH WE SET A THEME - YOU ARE NOT LIMITED TO THIS! ANYTHING GOES!

To show your images at the live event email them to pinkcowphotoclub@thepinkcow.com, at least 1 full day before the presentation day or JUST SHOW UP WITH YOUR IMAGES ON MEMORY STICK. Please name your image files in order of presentation before the event. If you are not in Japan, you can post your images to the facebook group gallery or post a link to your website on the group wall. Or you can email us your images and we will show them on your behalf. Please let us know if you want the images shown!

If you present some work you get in free!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those who can’t make it in person, there will be a live & recorded webstream for you viewing pleasure. The details will be posted on the group wall.

On the evening you can enjoy homemade international food (awesome burritos for one!) & the cash bar. DJ Soul T Nuts & DJ Cream Latte will hit the decks! After all, this is a party!! 500yen at the door + minimum purchase of one item of food / drink. Come early for dinner and the best seats! See you there!

The club is for professional and amateur photographers, but especially amateur phtographers. It is a platform (both venue and internet based) for photo lovers from around the world to show and see photographic work, network, learn, collaborate and celebrate our love for photography.

How do you get there?

* Directions From Shibuya Station:
If you are walking from Shibuya Station, Hachiko Exit: Walk past the right side of Starbucks. Walk straight until you come to Tower records. Turn right at the Tower Records corner. Walk straight, go under the overpass bridge and across the large intersection street (Meji dori) and continue to walk straight. Go two more stop lights up and turn left. The Pink Cow is about 1 1/2 blocks down on the right, directly across from Aoyama Park Tower, down a quiet street a couple of blocks. It is about 5 min. from Tower Records.

* Directions From Omotosando Station:
Go out the B2 exit. Walk straight down Aoyama dori, on the right hand side, for about 5 minutes until you come to the United Nations University and Children’s Castle plaza. Just after the plaza is a small street with a First Kitchen on the corner. Turn right onto the small street. Go three little streets down and turn left. It is about 1/2 block down on the left, directly across from Aoyama Park Tower. About 7 min. from the Station.

* Directions From the Harajuku Area, Omotosano Dori: Turn off of Omotosando Dori between the Dior bldg. and the Yves Saint Laurent bldg. (near the Oriental Market) Walk straight, passed Starbucks, for about 7 min., all the way to the end. At the end turn left. Walk up the hill (past Aoyama Hospital) turn right on the 3 rd small street. It is about 1/2 block down, directly across from Aoyama Park Tower. About 10 min. from Omotosando Dori.
