"Come Hear a Successful Senior Executive Speak About Her Career and What It Takes To Succeed"
Thursday, May 21 Doors open at 7 p.m. This event will be held at Merrill Lynch in Nihonbashi Located in the Coredo building: http://www.coredo.jp/access/index.html
Wan Ling Martello is senior vice president for strategy and CFO of Wal-Mart International. She will discuss what it has taken to reach this point in her career and what it takes to hold a position at the world’s largest company.
As an Asian woman, Wan Ling will also touch on some of the particular challenges she has faced and how she has successfully overcome them. Wan Ling’s father was her role model and mentor, who taught her “self-reliance and clear thinking,” skills which she has applied throughout her life. Wan Ling believes that career women must be the “master of their own destiny” and that it is “just as important to help others to succeed.” Wan Ling serves as a very inspirational role model and we hope you will join us in this exceptional opportunity to hear her story and meet her in person.
She is a board member for Royal Neighbors of America, and is also involved in Care For Children, an organization that helps disabled and orphaned children in China.
