Kansai Canada Business Association Presents Mr. Allan Edwards Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner, Canadian Consulate in Nagoya Title: Canada Japan Relations: In Sickness and Health
An Event in Dedication and Honour of Mr. Allan Edwards
Mr. Edwards will discuss the current global economic downturn and outline the ways Canada and Japan have fared better than other countries. He will describe the Canada Japan relationship and demonstrate how Canada and Japan are natural partners in trade and security and propose a way forward for Canada and Japan in the face of globalization, a force that should be seen as good rather than a threat.
Mr. Edwards is the Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Consulate in Nagoya. His previous postings for the Department of External Affairs and International Trade include Tokyo, Seattle and Osaka.
This event is sponsored and hosted by the KCBA and organized on behalf of the Kansai Canada business community in appreciation of the tremendous amount of work Mr. Edwards has done for the community.
Join us for an evening of discussion followed by a buffet and alcoholic beverages. The event will also feature a surprise performance. Don’t miss it!
