End of Summer fun wines… I’m sorry for the long absence of wine dinners this long hot summer. I’ve managed to spend much of the summer in southern Europe which has also been hot. So herewith the first of a series of wine dinners to kick off the end of Summer and onset of Autumn. This first dinner offers a variety of lighter, reasonably priced, perfect 3-season wines – good in all but the depths of winter, and even then… Almost all the wines are from organically cultivated grapes, incidentally, and I’ll say more on that at the dinner. There’s an interesting variety of grapes on offer here and a lot of fun drinking. The format is as usual 12 wines for a maximum of 14 people, with a fine background meal in comfortable surroundings at Legato in Shibuya. I hope you’ll join, and I’ll be providing commentary as usual!
