JACL COMMUNITY EVENT – SECOND HARVEST JAPAN (SHJ)

Come on out and let’s make a positive contribution to the community. As a group, we will help Second Harvest Japan distribute soup and food to the homeless in Ueno Park (near whale statue near Science Museum).

DATE/TIME: APRIL 12th (10:30AM – 2:00PM)
EVENT SCHEDULE:
1. 10:30AM – 12:30PM – Preparations at the warehouse (make soup, prepare portions, etc)
2. 12:30PM – 2:00PM – Soup kitchen and food distribution at Ueno Park
Event Ends (Optional - if time permits, lets have lunch together)

MEETING TIME: 10:15AM (Please be punctual as the program starts at 10:30AM)
MEETING VENUE:
Second Harvest Japan, Mizuta Building, 4-5-1 Asakusabashi, Taito-ku, 03-3838-3827.

We will FIRST meet in front of SHJ’s warehouse. The warehouse is less than five minutes from either JR Asakusabashi station or JR Akihabara.

FINAL REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT DEADLINE: Friday, MARCH 28th (by 6PM).
Please register before this deadline so that we can notify the organization of the number of people attending in advance.

* No Children under 12 (due to hot soup and stove)
