Ever wanted to travel the Silk Road from end to end and experience the many cultures along the way? Come join us on September 8th and you can travel with us right here inside Tokyo's center.
Amane is a unique event featuring performances of artists representing music and dance from along the Silk Road Region.
September will feature Traditional Southern Indian Dance, Arabic and Contemporary Belly Dance and Okinawan Dance. Music will include Okinawan, music from the Balkans and Black Sea Region (Gypsy Music) and a band blending Asian, Japanese, Arabic and Turkish influences.
Come join us and if you play an ethnic instrument, bring it along and join in our jam session.

Doors: 5:30 Start: 6:00
Price: 2000 advanced 2500 day of show. Both include one drink.
Come early and stake out a great seat this event is likely to sell out.

Amane Event is this Saturday 9/8 at AndZone Gallery. This is our second in a series of events with a wide range of ethnic dancers and musicians. We are a not-for-profit group that volunteer to organize and support ethnic music and culture events in Tokyo. I hope you'll come out and join us.
It is a great chance to see unique instruments played live including Santoor, Bouzouki, Iranian Daf drum, Egyptian Darakuba, Balkan Violin and Karaval flute. Dancers will include South Indian traditional dance and both contemporary and traditional bellydance.
The evening will end with an open jam, so if you play an ethnic instrument or percussion instrument, please bring it and join in with us.
