He represents the dubstep scene in France, his name is Greg G.
Since 1997, he has been a jungle DJ, and recently picks and plays UK garage and dubsetp. Greg contributes to the development of the scene by opening event in Paris, his birthplace Nantes, Loire, and handling various radio shows. Furthermore, his intension to develop the dubstep scene, Greg G started his own label “7even Recordings”.
He actively introduced new artists such as ‘F’ and HELIXIR. He released about 10 recordings within one year span and his strong masterpieces received world wide high ratings. Greg G also appeared in BBC radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs’ Experimental Show titled as “Hotflush vs 7 even”, and he mainly picked special-set from “7even Recordings” music. In 2010, he released “The Modulation Mix”. Greg’s wide views & sense of music are receiving high acknowledgement and ratings.
He has been playing with various artists in/out of Japan. Basing dubstep, his ultimate-north like sound, dope and hard play, when it hits the boiling point, his music well breaks the scale of club music and generates ‘mosh-pit’. Moreover, he has a record of the number of audiences in ‘Club 444’ in Omiya, Saitama where there is only one dubstep event/scene called MAMMOTH DUB. Consistently, the floor is packed with audiences who show great passion.
