Date: Monday, 26th June 2006 Time: 7.00pm - 9pm Venue: WSET International Wine and Spirit Centre 39-45 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 3XF Tickets: £10/£5 IWS Members.
This is our fourth annual saké tasting, the result of a collaboration between WSET®, Japan Airlines and saké exporters. Led by one of Japan’s young and energetic saké producer, Mr Kosuke Kuji, this is a rare opportunity to discover the subtleties one of the world’s great drinks, still not very well understood outside Japan. The evening will help you find out what makes fine saké tick. As well as covering the way saké is brewed, there will be an opportunity to taste a range of sakés air freighted to London specially for the event, and to meet and question the producers who made them.
The tasting will be one of the first to take place in the WSET at Bermondsey Street.
