ミレニアム以降急速に膨張を続けるイタロ／エレクトロ・ムーヴメントの発信源であ り牽引役である、I-F率いるオランダのインターネット・ラジオ・ス テーション 「C-B-S(Cybernetic Broadcasting System)」。新旧ジャンル問わず様々なエレクト ロ・ミュージックやDJミックスを24時間ノンストップで垂れ流すという、あくまでイ ンディペンデ ントな姿勢を貫くこのサイバー・オーガニゼーションのメインDJのひ とりが、ロッテルダムのディスコ・ロッカー、TAKOである。実兄の影響で幼いころ からディスコやニューウェーヴに親しみ、シカゴ・ハウスやデトロイト・テクノの洗 礼後、91年に初のレジデント・パーティを主宰する。以降ディープ・ハ ウスやサー ド・ウェーヴなデトロイト・サウンドに傾倒した後、インターネットを介してロン・ ハーディのDJミックスに触れたことで、自身のルーツである ディスコやニュー ウェーヴがダンス・ミュージックに直結することとなる。また、同時期に出会った DJ、Loud-Eから様々なオブスキュア・ディスコを 学び、お互いに腕を磨き合うこと で、現在のスペーシーでコズミックなDJスタイルの基盤が確立する。時を同じくして インターネット・ラジオを開設した I-Fに認められ、Loud-EとともにC-B-Sのメイン DJに抜擢される。以降現在に至るまで、ヨーロッパを主に各国のパーティへ招致さ れ、活躍の 場を広げている。DISCOSSESSIONとは05年10月にロンドンのウェアハウス ・パーティで共演し意気投合、今回の来日へと繋がった。

Dr. NISHIMURA、Chee SHIMIZU、Jonny NASHからなるDJユニット。2003年に活動開始 以降、日本においてイタロ／エレクトロ・ディスコが正当な評価を得るための地盤を 築いた。05年3 月にリリースされたDr.NISHIMURAのMix-CD「New Age of Baroque」 は、現在のカルト・ディスコ・ムーヴメントを象徴する1枚として多大なる評価を得 た。最近では80年代イタリアのディスコ伝説 「COSMIC」を日本に紹介し、自身達も ディスコ／ニューウェーヴ／プログレッシヴ・ロック／ワールド・ミュージックな ど、ジャンルを超越した音楽を 同一線上でミックスする新たなスタイルを展開して いる。05年5月にChee SHIMIZUがリリースしたMix-CD「Cosmic Child in Jinbo」 は、プライヴェート盤ながら日本において初めてCOSMICスタイルを提示したMix-CDと して話題を呼んだ。05年9〜10月にはヨー ロッパ・ツアーを遂行するなど、その波動 は確実に広まりつつある。

名古屋―京都でのパーティーについてTAKOがCBSにてレポしてくれてます。英文ですが、根性で読んでみて下さい。

woooohooo , japan is fucking amazing!!! i have seen so many things here that ive never seen before! its truly a great experience. id reccommend anybody to get out here at least once !
after meeting up with jonny and chee in tokyo , we set out for nagoya on friday where we had a really amazing party at the capricorn cosmic club with hosting dj kaneda! the nagoya crew had turned the upstairs room into a classical loft style space with lots of colorfull balloons and strange party decorations. starting off were kanbe and uchida playing a really nice selection of records, jonny after that played a really deep set of slow and spacy electronic tunes including some of his own tracks along with johan timman , marc shreeves o.a . the party gradually got more crowded and the atmosfear equally more intense.when i started playing it took me awhile to get in the mix but after i did the crowd went ape....never had so much cheers and energy going around at aparty, it was unbelieveble! at the point chee shimizu took over the atmosfear was at boiling point . he played an amazing , unexpected italo set .. after he dropped in automat the crowd went mad with that record, just screaming and clapping . the party got an orgasm!!! last up was kaneda who equally satisfied the crowd with a very, very nice set . the party ended with a big group grunt ....
the next day we set of for kyoto , and jonny and i found out we had been shamelesly drinking vast amounts of beer. the recovery took us the whole day .after arriving in kyoto we went straight to 'the world is yours' wich turned out to be a two floor tiny club on the sixth floor of a tiny sky scraper. it was just so cute! with windows on all sides you could see the main shopping street from the party.
first we set out to have diner, still processing our HUGE hangover , i had a near death experience eating the famous blowfish wich is deadly if it isnt prepared right...after going back to the club with strange feelings the party started and the music took away our troubles straight away.... the party floor was transformed into a psychedelic womblike space with the most amazing visuals i had ever seen , i mean i never thought i would be cheering to a vj , it was amazing troughout the whole night! the music and vibe this evening was completly different ; more diverse and autistic! the djs that played where all amazing in their own style . its really nice to hear japanese djs play because its just different ... very creative and very personal styles. big big ups for qotaroo , ban and the host of the evening jyotaroo! jonny played amore disco orientated set wich was very nice and i did my thing again playing lots of organic disco but the hero of the night was defenatly chee ! what he did in his three hour set was just totally unheard of ! he played a cosmic set that totaly blew jonny and me away! it was the most amazing set i have heard in years ...really! it was a very slow tribal kind of set that gradually build up to an extended peak. of the three hours of music that i heard i could only recognise two songs . i felt like a little kid...in its own way this party was just really realy nice and everybody enjoyed it very much . and it went on till about seven in the morning....
now i will do some tourist stuff and look forward to the party in tokyo next week! aswell as visiting that little paradise record shop again haha....
