We are planning to hold a coming-of-age ceremony and first anniversary of TICE event.

Coming of Age Day is a Japanese holiday held annually on the second Monday of January. It is held in order to congratulate and encourage all those who have reached the age of majority over the past year, and to help them realize that they have become adults.

Many Japanese attend at a coming-of-age ceremony with a kimono. We invite the new adults (i.e. in Japan, 20-year-olds .Date of Birth: from April 2, 1993 to April 1, 1994) from oversea nations and Japanese (who can wear your kimono are most welcome), people who are interested in international exchange.

We will hold a ceremony to pray for good luck for the new adults and our club's future at the Ichinoya-Yasaka-Jinja (a Shinto shrine) on Sunday January 19 at 4.00 PM.

The new adults from oversea nations who want to wear a Kimono (Date of Birth from April 2, 1993 to April 1, 1994), please tell us as soon as possible.

Priority will be given to the new adults, but if we unable to look for them, others can get the opportunity.

People with or without Kimono are welcome!

After the Shinto shrine visit, we will hold an after party.
