The most current work by Kazutaka Yoshida, who has mainly exhibited photographic works in the past, is an installation that is composed of various elements aside from photos, including words, sounds and actions. At first glance, his works give viewers an incoherent and disorderly impression, due to several factors: his photographs work which combined of each individual text in his work with the pixels of digital image data; his radio broadcasts done via Podcasting, in a gallery, which he has utilized for the last few years; and his incorporation of actual spectacle that can be seen from the gallery. However, the world is in fact made up of such incoherent elements. When we talk of the innumerous, insignificant fragments that we produce on a daily basis, we realize that the world exists within those fragments. Behind the world that Yoshida manifests through the utilization of his unstable methodology exists his conviction toward the world.
