トウキョウでのLondon Callingがこの日、2周年を迎える。
このセレブレーションに登場するのは、エレクトロ・ミュージック・シーンで最も影響力あるデュオの一つ、Layo & Bushwacka!だ。
またこの日はBig Beach Festival‘09のオフィシャル・アフター・パーティーを兼ねての開催する！
このエレクトロ・ミュージック・シーンの中核を担ってきたディオ、Layo&Bushwacka!が必ずやフロアをロックし、我々のアニヴァサリーをスペシャルな一夜としてくれるだろう。
もちろん、レジデントDJのMike Munoz、Jules Ehrhardtによる、これまで2年の間でLCを彩ってきたビックトラックをフィーチャーしたスペシャルセット、NO BORDERSのWATARU + RYO.T、そしてBBF ‘09にも出演するDimitri Nakovのプレイも必見だ！

【Layo & Bushwacka! (Olmeto Records, The End)】
Layo Paskin と Matthew “Bushwacka” B. からなるユニット、 Layo&Bushwacka! は、ハウスからブレイクス、エレクトロなど様々なエレメントを持った独自のスタイルからワールドワイドに人気を集めているビッグネームの一つだ。また、昨年惜しまれながらクローズしてしまったトップクラブ、THE ENDのレジデントＤＪおよび Co-ownerとしても知られている。
’99年にEnd Recordingsからアルバム「Lowlife」でアーティストとしての頭角を現した彼らは、’02年にXL Recordingsからリリースした「Love Story」の大ヒットによって一躍トッププロデューサーの仲間入りを果たした。
同作が収められたセカンドアルバム「NIGHTWORKS」もその年のベストアルバムにも評される程の大ヒットを記録し、翌年にはKings Of Tommorowの名曲「Finally」を大胆にサンプリングした「Love Story (vs Finally)」 もリリースされその地位を確実のものとした。
05年からはOlmeto Recordsをスタートさせ、「Life 2 Live」、「Now Is The Time」等のスマッシュヒットをコンスタントに生み出している。07年にはGlobal UndergroundよりミックスCDシリーズの最高峰、「GU33:Rio」をリリース。シーンのビックネームからカッティングエッジなアーティストまで、ベテランらしいバラエティーとバランスを兼ね備えた内容が大きな話題となった。

DJ Munoz、通称「The Disco Infiltrator」。ダーディー＆セクシー＆ファンキーなエレクトロ・ディスコ・サウンドを操るパフォーマスンス性に富んだ魅惑のDJプレイによって日本中のハウスファンから支持されている。UKのアンダーグラウンド・サウンドを紹介しつづけているインターナショナル・パーティー【London Calling】のオリジナルメンバーであり、レジデントDJとしても活躍中。渋谷RockWestでの人気アフターアワーズ【TRASH】のオーガナイズ＆DJも行っている。

【Jules Ehrhardt (London Calling)】
ロンドンアンダーグラウンド・エレクトロ・ハウスパーティー【London Calling】の中心人物。2005年、大阪にてレジデントDJ Mike Munozと共にLondon Callingをスタート。
まるで海外のクラブにいるようなフレンドリーでインターナショナルなバイブとファンキーなサウンドでスタート当初から話題を集める。
その後2007年にはLondon Callingの活動拠点を東京に移動。幼い頃からカッティングエッジなダンスミュージックを聴いて育った彼ならではの、ダーティー＆ファンキーなハウスそしてジャンルレスなブートレッグサウンドで今宵もフロアを熱くさせることだろう。

London Calling celebrates its 2nd anniversary in Tokyo with none other than Layo & Bushwacka, one of electronic music’s most esteemed duos. We are also hosting the official Big Beach Festival afterparty in what is going to be a massive night. Layo & Bushwacka!’s reputation as two of the world’s foremost DJ duos is rock solid and we are extremely proud to have them play London Calling’s 2nd anniversary in Tokyo. In support are London Calling residents Mike Munoz & Jules Ehrhardt who will be dropping some of the biggest London Calling tracks of the last two years as well as Ryo T & Wataru (No Borders) and Dimitri Nakov.

【Layo & Bushwacka! (Olmeto Records, The End)】
Layo & Bushwacka’s love affair with music started as teenagers at the dawn of acid house; it’s led both of them through techno, breakbeat, electro, dub, electronica and well beyond. Emerging blinking into the light almost two decades later with a sound that fuses all their influences, they’ve maintained their position at the head of the pack. It’s the same outlaw spirit of eclecticism that still informs their five hour DJ sets, whether at their spiritual home the legendary The End in London (RIP), a beach in Brazil, or a superclub in Ibiza or Argentina.
Three artist albums have proven them remarkably talented producers, capable of mixing styles, tempos and genres to create enduring and engaging electronic music, including the global anthem ‘Love Story’. DJ MUNOZ a.k.a. THE DISCO INFILTRATOR (London Calling) has risen to prominence in Japan's club scene with his signature dirty-electro-disco driven sound, mesmerising mixer showmanship and complete musical knowledge. Munoz is co-owner and resident at Japan's underground club night LONDON CALLING, which showcases underground talent direct from the UK and is also the force behind Tokyo's leading afterhours night TRASH at RockWest.
You can catch Munoz behind at the controls of Japan's leading clubs such as WOMB, WAREHOUSE, AIR, YELLOW, MADO LOUNGE, TROOP CAFE & TRIANGLE and internationally at ZOUK (Singapore), CIRCLE (Korea) and THE WALL (China). He has graced the decks alongside DANIEL WANG, HANNAH HOLLAND, PETER BLACK, D RAMIREZ, MASON, CORMAC, FELIX CARTAL, KENJI TAKAMI and Japanese legend KO KIMURA.

Jules Ehrhardt cut his teeth growing up in London during the explosion of the underground club scene. He founded London Calling in Osaka in 2005, quickly establishing the night alongside resident Mike Munoz as the city's most exciting club night and establishing it in Tokyo years later. His amped up genre-crossing style and infectious energy behind the decks causes bedlam on the dancefloor.
