前回たくさんの人で賑わった「...Twist」が、今週末の土曜日再びWireで行なわれます。この日は英国の偉大なるDJでBBC radioのプレゼンターでもあったJohn Peelの命日です (30 August 1939 – 25 October 2004)。今回の「...Twist」は、10/24-10/25にかけてのパーティーということで偶然にもJohn Peelの命日と重なったので、遠い東京の果てからではありますが、思いを込めてサブタイトルを「John Peel Night 2009」としました。内容はいつも通りのダンスミュージックですが、いくつか彼を連想させる名曲も飛び出すことと思います。
この日は、エレクトロニカ・ユニット .atonalによるエクスペリメンタルなの60分にも渡るライブセット。DJ陣もElectoroでLatinでNew WaveでRock The Houseな選曲で盛り上げます。
