DON'T MISS this super fun biannual event, located in Shintenchi - behind LABBRO department store in downtown Katamachi. The Shintenchi Block Party is totally free! - and people from all kinds of local and outside circles come out of the woodwork to fill the neighborhood from end to end. Truly, this is an event not to be missed! ALL ARE WELCOME.
Shall we mention its FREE again (?) Also, several interesting performers will feature, spanning from around dusk until dark. Acts will be both local and from other parts of Japan. Come join the fun!
Shintenchi is Kanazawa's oldest drinking district. This event was originally inspired by, and continues to be hosted and promoted by three neighboring shops; Kappa-Do ~ Natural-Style Goods, World Eclectic ~ Bar, and Natty One ~ Reggae Curry Cafe.
