・10 KILOのレーベルDJとして活躍する傍ら、Ministry Radioのパースナリティを努め、地元UKはEdinburghにて、New Electro Night 「We Are....」なるパーティーを画策し、M.A.N.D.Y, FC Kahuna, Felix Da Housecat , Booka Shade, Andrew Weatherall, The Virgin Tears, Black Strobe ,Ewan Pearsonなどのビッグアーティストをフィーチャーし、UKアンダーグラウンドのエレクトロミュージックシーンに多大な影響を及ぼしている。若干２５歳にして、既に14年のDJキャリアを持つ彼のバックグラウンドは90年代初期のUKハードコアシーンに影響を受け、ネットラジオのパースナリティーという立場を活かし、ベルギーレイヴ、デトロイトテクノ、海賊ラジオと言った様々な局面で世界中のDJやプロデューサーと活動を共にして来た経験が、彼独特のDJスタイル構築のスパイスとして、活かされています。ス コットランドでのDJ活動の後、10 KILOのレジデントDJとして活躍を開始してからは、テクノ、アシッド、エレクトロ、ブレイクス、パンキッシュファンク、ハウス等、様々なジャンルを独自の解釈て横断し、世界観を作り上げる。世界屈指のハイクオリティなDJセンスで練り込まれた、アンダーグラウンドエレクトリックミュージックをプレイし続ける注目のＤＪだ。

・With over 14 years of experience behind him DJ Flix is no newcomer to the world of electronic music. Raised in London and inspired in the early 1990s by a combination of UK hardcore, Belgian rave, Detroit techno and pirate radio he has since worked in nearly every aspect of the industry and alongside a host of the world's finest djs and producers. Having spent his early years as a dj in Scotland's capital city where he held three residencies, he returned to London in 2002 to help run the 10 Kilo label and host a weekly radio show at Ministry Radio. Widely regarded as a technically superb dj his musical style spans techno, acid, electro, breakbeat, punk-funk and house and has seen him spin records in nearly every continent on the globe. More recent projects include the launch of a hugely successful new electro night in Edinburgh called We Are....Electric which has played host to the likes of M.A.N.D.Y, FC Kahuna, Felix Da Housecat and Booka Shade. The night runs weekly and future guests are set to include Andrew Weatherall, The Virgin Tears, Black Strobe and Ewan Pearson. This will be Flix's 2nd visit to Japan and if you like quality underground electronic music at it's very best then this is one gig not to be missed.
