Hi this is John, one of the teacher's here at Talkmate.

There will be a music concert, or live show, on the 27th of April here in Nagoya. I will be playing with another teacher here at Talkmate...Bryony. I usually play guitar and sing, while Bryony is a singer and a pianica player.

Bryony and I have played many shows together, including many in Japan. Our last big show that was just the two of us was in London, UK.

Bryony is from the Uk, while I am from Canada. Together we have listened to very different music from when we were younger, which has helped us in writing our own music. We usually play our own music as well as some covers of other people's music that we both enjoy.

Our genre of music is mainly folk, but also a little Jazz, blues, rock, pop and hiphop. We choose the name "Dhatura Tatula".

The show on the 27th is between Parco and Yamada Denki on Wakamiya dori...just behind the Shell gas station. The name of the cafe is "Cafe Monde" during the day and "Karip Karap" at night. Please come if you have the time!

This show will be with another friend of ours as well. His name is Dan and he is an American. He plays similar music to us and we play all together as well. Often I end up 'jammimg' with Dan and making new music at a show. Bryony often ends up inventing something to sing on the spot. Making new music in front of people is one of my favourite things about playing live music.
