Do you want to try rock climbing? Do you want to meet people from around the world? If yes, this is a good trip for you. We will be climbing at Hiwada Yama, and the rocks here are best for beginners. There are over 20 routes that are for beginners, so it is the perfect place to experience climbing for the first time.

Cost: 6,000 円 and includes transportation to and from the climbing site from Koma station. Transportation to Koma is your responsibility.

Things you should bring: Lunch and comfortable clothes that you would wear for hiking or other sports. Jeans are not recommended as they may make movement difficult.
Detailed Description of Trip: All technical climbing equipment will be provided on this trip (harness, climbing shoes, and belay device). After meeting at the train station we will take transportation to the climbing area together.

We will start with an introduction of the climbing equipment, and how to use everything. Next you will learn how to tie into the rope using a figure-8 knot, and you will also learn and practice belaying with an ATC belay device. All of this time will be spent on the ground so that you will be confident before we try climbing on the rocks.

We will spend the rest of the day climbing on multiple routes and improving your skills during the day. We will have lunch next to the rocks. At the end of the day we will travel back to Koma station together.
