Cost: 6,000 円 and includes transportation to and from the climbing site from Yugawara station. Transportation to Yugawara is your responsibility.

Meeting Time and Place: 9:15 AM at Yugawara Station on the Tokaido Line in front of the ticket gate.

Things you should bring: Lunch and comfortable clothes that you would wear for hiking or other sports. Jeans are not recommended as they may make movement difficult.

Detailed Description of Trip: All technical climbing equipment will be provided on this trip (harness, climbing shoes, and belay device). After meeting at the train station we will take transportation to the climbing area together.

We will start with an introduction of the climbing equipment, and the proper use of everything. Next you will learn how to tie into the rope using a figure-8 knot, and you will also learn and practice belaying with an ATC belay device. We will also teach proper movement on rock so you will be able to climb with confidence.

We will spend the rest of the day climbing on multiple routes and improving your skills during the day. We will have lunch next to the rocks. At the end of the day we will travel back to Yugawara station together. If people in the group are interested we can have dinner in Chigasaki at a local brewpub with amazing bakery on the trip back to Tokyo.

Participant Minimum and Maximum: This trip will be canceled if there are less than 3 people signed up. The maximum number of participants is 7 people.
