Come join a guided walk and learn about the nature and history of Takao-san, a sacred mountain in western Tokyo, on Sunday May 27th. All foreigners are welcome to join free of charge (participants are asked to pay a minimal insurance fee of 200 yen).

The "International Exchange in Nature" is presented by English Adventure and the Takao Visitor Center and sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, with Japanese volunteers introducing the nature and history of the mountain in English.

Takao is a small but beautiful mountain with unique nature, an important history, and spectacular views. If the weather cooporates, we'll have good views of Mount Fuji and Tokyo.

The tour begins at 9:40 and is estimated to finish around 4:00. Takao is conveniently located less than an hour from Tokyo (directions here: http://www2.ocn.ne.jp/~takao-vc/)
