Not sounding like I`m promoting Sony or any thing but PS3 IMO will get much winder in the future if enough people work on the system. It has a lot of potential.
Hooking it up to the internet and downloading new software from the PS3 network.
Testing different operating systems on it.
Testing the different settings. How it performs on a tube TV, Flat screen, Plasma and HD.
Backwards compatibility works and which games work and don`t work well.
Hooking the PSP to it to upload and download. And what else both systems together can do.
Writing software for the PS3 and what is possible to mod onto the PS3.
Games are only a single part of it and as the system moves on and becomes available in other counties outside Japan numbers should expand.
I don`t have a Wii or DS yet and I`m not really interested in those systems so feel free to open a community your selfs ;).
