After a few wash-outs last weekend, we have a plethora of pedaling-pushing possibilities in the pipeline.
SATURDAY
LouisG has offered to celebrate his last weekend in Tokyo by leading an Odaiba ride. Thanks, Louis! Those of you who know Louis will also know his favourite song. I won't say what it is, but under no circumstances mention the word "sexy" where he can hear you. You have been warned!

Sunday 29 July Meet 08:45 @ Grand Hyatt for 09:00 sharp start Route includes Tamagawa (upstream), Showa Memorial Park (400 yen entry fee), Tokyo/Saitama suburban border, Arakawa (downstream), Tokyo waterfront, and back to the Hyatt: maybe 130km or so... we'll see how far it really is when we ride it. Bring your lights just in case! Call Ray 090-3233-5707 or Mike 080-3403-0239
For Saturday 4th, Viera has suggested an afternoon/evening ride up the Arakawa to watch the fireworks at Toda-bashi. I will be packing for my trip to the UK so I'll let others hammer out the details.
The Don is back in August - first chance to see him at the Pink Cow on 1st for "Roast Ray" Night.
And I just watched an interesting video, "Gone in 60 Seconds: The Bike Crime Wave". It shows just how easy it is to steal a bike. I'll bring it along on Wednesday and we can watch it if Ray needs a rest from the good-natured onslaught.
