感性融合デザインセンター　ワークショップ・講演会
｢ザッカリー･リバーマンによるThe EyeWriterプロジェクト in 福岡｣

世界的なメディア･アーティスト、ザッカリー･リバーマン氏を招いてのトーク＆ワークショップ！2010年に世界最大のメディア･アートの祭典、アルス･エレクトロニカでゴールデンニカを受賞した｢The EyeWriter｣プロジェクトに関する、ザッカリー氏によるトークとワークショップを開催します。
「The EyeWriter」は、筋萎縮性側索硬化症（ALS）により全身が麻痺してしまったグラフィティ･アーティストに「再びグラフィティを描けるように」という願いから始まったプロジェクト。
講演では｢The EyeWriter｣プロジェクトを中心としたザッカリー氏の活動についてのトークが行われます。また、ワークショップでは実際に｢The EyeWriter｣の仕組みがレクチャーされ、｢The EyeWriter｣のデバイスを応用したアプリケーションを作ります。

講演会，ワークショップともに入場無料
ワークショップは事前申込が必要。両日とも参加可能な方で，かつプログラミングの経験があることが望ましい。なお，ノートPCを持参していただくことになります。
ワークショップの見学は自由ですが，部屋に入る人数の関係上，ご遠慮願うことがあるかも知れません。
講演会は事前申込の必要なく，自由に参加いただけます。

Kyushu University KANSEI center for Art and Science hosts:
“Zachery Lieberman’s The EyeWriter Project Talk & Workshop in Fukuoka”

We are happy to announce that Zach Lieberman who is a world-known media artist will come to Fukuoka, Japan to have a talk & workshop!
He will bring "The EyeWriter" Project which won the Golden Nica: GrandPrix of Als Electronica 2010, interactive categoly.
This project started for a legendary LA graffiti artist, who has been living with ALS(Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) since 2003, a disease which has left him almost completely physically paralyzed... except for his eyes so that he can draw graffiti using just his eyes.
He will give a talk about his works around "The EyeWriter" project. And in a workshop he will lecture the mechanism of "The EyeWriter", and you will make an application for "The EyeWriter".

Participants of workshop MUST have a basic knowledge of programming (not necessarily c++, but languages such as actionscript, javascript, or java/processing).
Please bring Laptop computer to participe workshop.
There is a limit on participants.
Feel free to come and take a look for yourself.
You don't need to have a contact to participate a talk.
