It’s time once again to dim the lights, fire up the projectors and finally pop that long-promised popcorn. That’s right, it’s Sunscreen and this year it’s comin’ at ya with sinister overtones. The Curse of Sunscreen will take place 5-11pm on Sunday, October 29th. Films from the ten finalists will be screened inside and out on the balcony at our ever-so-funky digs, a-bridge in Sangenjaya. Once again the audience will be asked to pick their favorite.
Live music from our new friends the E.D.O Echo Sound System(http://www.e-d-o-echo.com/) and drumming wonder brothers, Gen-On , as well as spine-tingling cinematic sets from the Sundown DJ crew of ASB,Jona, Naoki and Socrates will make this a Halloween party with a difference. No costume required but instead we’re asking everyone to dress in black.
Entry is only 1000 yen and to guarantee an opportunity to vote in one if the most hotly contested short film contests in town, send us an email with number of tickets needed and a keitai number-we’ll stash your tickets in the torso of a rotting corpse until you show up to claim them. Or alternatively, take your chances with the rest of the zombies roaming the streets and show up at the door.
Get along early for drink specials, door prizes and some trick-or- treat madness.
