<<<><>*<><>>> This year, Earthdance Southern California would like to respond to the recent tragedy in the Golf Coast region and the ongoing humanitarian disaster in Africa. Earthdance was founded on the principles of philanthropy. The path to global peace is strengthened through charitable acts and building solidarity with people in need. By reaching out and giving in this very critical time we can promote a unified humanity and provide genuine assistance to people so desperately in need right now both locally and globally.
A portion of the proceeds from Earthdance 2005 (LA) will goto K.V.A.C (Katrina Victims Action Coalition) for relief supplies as well as NextAid, an organization dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. Please go to their website and see the amazing work they are doing with http://www.nextaid.org
We will also be collecting new and used items to donate to hurricane victims in Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. Please check the K.V.A.C website http://www.kvac.us closer to the Earthdance gathering on September 17th for a current list of needed supplies.
Thanks for all of your continued support and generosity. We hope to see you all at Earthdance 2005 (Los Angeles).
