Over the last few months, a number of runners training for the RVM have contacted me at the coachbruce@royalvictoriamarathon.com address asking about clinics. While the RVM provides schedules and on-line coaching, it does not operate any clinics. However, those based in the Lower Mainland might be interested in joining me on Wednesday evenings for a drop in speed work session.
The workouts will be similar to the schedules, but in order to accommodate those following various RVM marathon and half marathon schedules, the workouts will be modified to create solid training groups. These workouts will be ideal for those following the Boston Qualifier, Quest for Improvement, or Personal Best programs. The greatest benefit of working with a group is that you are pushed along, motivated and inspired by others. Group training is probably the fastest way to improve your performance.
Dates: Wednesday evenings (August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, September 5th,12th, 19th and 26th)
