Touane (pronounced too-ane) is Marco Tonni. Living in Berlin since 2004 he now works with STEWART WALKER at PERSONA RECORDS in both the office & the studio. With Stewart's help & guidance, he has worked to develop and distinguish his unique & cutting-edge sound. With 7 plus releases on Persona he is one of the most prolific artists on the label & his excellent 'Bassic' was included on Tiefschwarz's FABRIC 029 compilation amongst others. Marco has also released on Sam Rouanet aka Reynold's imprint TRENTON records, Jeremy P. Caulfield's DUMB UNIT & his fans include John Tejada, Troy Pearce, Jeff Samuel, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vaeth, Steve Bug ... so quite the talent.

Marco Tonni aka Touaneはイタリア、リミニで産まれ、幼いころよりインディ系の音楽を経て17歳よりエレクトロニック・ミュージックの制作を始める。2004年にベルリンに移ったMarcoは、STEWART WALKERと共にPERSONA RECORDSでさらにその腕に磨きを掛ける。Stewartの協力と指導の基、Marcoは独自のカッティング・エッジサウンドを作りあげ、 Personaより7つのリリース、ウチ一つの「Bassic」は、あのTIEFSCHWARZのFABRIC 029ミックスに起用される。また、Sam Rouanet aka Reynold主宰レーベルTRENTONとJeremy P Caulfield主宰DUMB UNITよりもリリース。彼の独特なサウンドにはJohn Tejada TroyPierceやJeff SamuelやRICARDO VILLALOBOSやSVEN VAETHやSTEVE BUGと言ったオオモノDJやプロデューサーのファンが多くいる。DJとしては 'Propagada' Moscow 'Watergate' & LOVE PARADE Berlin, などを含めたヨーロッパ中のクラブでプレイ、今年もかなりのへヴィースケジュールが期待される。

Starting its life at Yellow & going strong now for a year, "YUK" or "yUK" now featuring artists from resident DJ & head honcho Dave Twomey's weekend "KonZept Maus" event has got to be one of if not the best thing on offer in Tokyo midweek. Starting at Yellow now moved to Womb & showcasing performance, dance, visuals, live art & of course cutting-edge music from local & international stars like Andrea Ferlin, Shane Berry, Mayuri, Q-Hey, DJ Toby & of course Dave himself have helped create the midweek clubnight for Tokyoites, creative & crazy alike. Drawing 100 to 200 people to the shrunk down main plus 4f or on occasion cramming into just the 4f only for some really full on vibes. Apparently the boss himself on a recent visit was shocked that so many people were going nuts on a Thursday at his club. The TGIF maxim taken to the next level, Friday does start on a Thursday night in reality ...
