Tresemble
To cap off its season, Chamber Music Hawai‘i pulls out the Tresemble, a combination of players from the smaller chamber groups. They call this year’s show “French Extravaganza,” and they pull out all the stops, playing Martinu, Honegger, Poulenc, Milhaud and Debussy. Ensemble sizes for various pieces range from eight to 18 players. The Milhaud (La Création du Monde, Op.81) is more of a chamber orchestra than ensemble, and they’ve collaborated with the Onium Ballet Project to include dance at the Paliku show.
