With the warm support and understanding, we are able hold our gathering in Parent-Child room every month starting from Nov. 21st. Ohana Bunko is a place for multilingual, multicultural children and families to provide holistic and an at-home atmosphere with rich language experience both in English and in Japanese. “Bunko” has been a part of Japanese literary tradition and it is literally means “mini library”. However, a bunko is different from a public library. Bunko is more closely connected to children, where they come and mingle with other children through stories, activities and they may borrow books to take home. Authentic Japanese and English storybooks will be shared with activities.
Fees: Annual registration fee: $20.00 per family. $5.00 per child for each session. Time: Children up to Kindergarten 9:00-9:30 Story time, 9:30-10:00 Play time. Elementary School children 10:00-10:40 Story and activities. ☆ All children must be accompanied by adults.
