今回は、海外よりFLIGHT FACILITIESをゲストで迎えて、豪華ゲストDJ陣と共にフロアーを盛り上げます。

FLIGHT FACILITIES (BANG GANG)ファイト・ファシリティーズ (Bang Gang 12inches)
Daft Punk、Billy Joel、Quincy Jonesに影響を受けた正体不明の2人組で構成されるFlight Facilities。2009年にBag Raidersの『Turbo Love』、The Lowbrowsの『Dream In The Desert』、そしてToecutterの『Best Party Ever』のリミックスを手掛けたことで一気にその名を広め、ネット上では2人に関する様々な憶測が飛び交うことに。今年に入ってからは、オーストラリアのエレクトロブームの立役者でもある12インチ専門レーベルBang Gang 12inchesから、ガーリーディスコなデビュートラック『Crave You ft. Giselle』をリリース。これが世界中で大ヒットを記録、世界一有名なゴシップブログPerez Hiltonで取り上げられたことも手伝って、オーストラリアの人気ラジオ番組Triple Jにおいて3週連続でリクエスト曲No.1に選ばれることとなる。年内にはファーストアルバム『Taking Flight』をリリース予定。プロデューサーとしても活躍するメンバーの一人は、Le Baron de Parisのゲストミュージックセレクターでお馴染みTim SullivanのフォーマーバンドDamn Armsを手掛けていたこともあるなど、Flight Facilitiesの謎は深まるばかり…。

With influences as diverse as Daft Punk, Billy Joel and Quincy Jones, two-piece band Flight Facilities have a unique sound. In 2009 they did remixes of Bag Raiders’ “Turbo Love”, The Lowbrows’ “Dream In The Desert”, and Toecutter’s “Best Party Ever”, all of which served to broaden their fan base. This year they have proved to be one of the leading acts in Australia’s burgeoning electro scene since the release of girly disco debut track “Crave You ft. Giselle” on 12inch specialist label Bang Gang 12inches. It became a global hit, fuelled by a plug on top gossip blog Perez Hilton and was the most requested song on Australia’s top radio show Triple J for three consecutive weeks. Their first album, “Taking Flight”, is due for release later this year. One of the members of the band also works as a producer and he worked on tracks by Damn Arms, the band to which regular Le Baron de Paris guest music selector Tim Sullivan formerly belonged to.

From a background in punk music, Kan Takagi ascended to fame as Japan’s foremost exponent of hip-hop culture. With both these educations informing his sprit, Takagi has developed truly unique musical style. Having been inspired by all of the people, culture and history he has studied and encountered over the years, he has developed into a sonic artist whose oeuvre defies description.

Known for tearing apart dancefloors at pop hot spot Le Baron de Paris and occasionally elsewhere, Dirk Bite plays disco, electro, rock 'n' rave and a whole bunch of shit besides. He surfs the fantastic firmament of disco to outer regions of the sonic universe and brings it back a dancefloor-vaporizing sound at an hour your momma would be just starting to water the pot plants.

メルボルンを拠点に活動していたエレクトロパンクバンドDamn Armsのフォーマーメンバーで、脱退後はベーシストからギタリストに転身。オーストラリア最大のイベントに出演し、KlaxonsやCut Copy、Midnight Juggernautsとともにワールドツアーにも参加した経験の持ち主。2007年に3人のメンバー（Gui Martinez、Ryan Mclaughlin、Pierre Klein）とともにGuimme Um.を結成。また2009年の夏からは新しいクラブイベントTOKYO DISKOを主宰。2010年にはCut CopyのブティックレーベルCutters Recordsからのソロデビューを控えている。音楽のセレクトセンスが光るBLOGも人気。

Das Moth is the inner spirit of Timothy Sullivan, half of the now defunct yacht dance, feel good group Damn Arms. With multiple releases spanning over record labels such as Bang Gang 12” and Modular, as well as playing over 180 shows in 7 countries, touring with the likes of Klaxons, The Kills, Spankrock and The Presets, Damn Arms were (and still are) one of the biggest names in Australian Dance Music.Not just a gifted musician, Tim has proven himself an extremely talented DJ, holding residency for two years at the now legendary Melbourne nightspot, Third Class. Playing from Sao Paulo to Singapore, London to Sydney, alongside a great deal of acts, he has impressed countless folk with his disco themed love sets. In July 2009 Das Moth left Australia, relocating to the vibrant centre of Tokyo, Japan, where has put the finishing touches on his debut 12". Set for release in late 2010 with remixes from Dex Pistols, Sid Who?, Neville Watson & Rio Lobotomy. Timothy signed with international indie/dance darlings Cut Copy’s boutique label, Cutters Records, Das Moth will join fellow label mates including K.I.M, Midnight Juggernauts and Knightlife.
